My first art show!!
Hey everyone!! I’m going to have my first show all to myself!! My photos will be up for a WHOLE MONTH in a cute little store called Little Things (www.littlethingspdx.com). It will run from October 6 through November 9, and she even made a flyer!! I don’t think I’ve ever had a flyer that featured me…probably because I’ve never been featured anywhere…so as you might guess, I’m SUPER excited!! 🙂 I’m going to the Astoria Sunday Market this Sunday, but that’s my last planned street fair type event, so this was pretty awesome to work out like this. I can give you a little background on how it came about…
So Akiko, of 5th Season: Clothing Reborn, who I have been sharing a spot with at pretty much all of the fairs and stuff I’ve done (but not all that she’s done, because she does everything!) is super connected and super awesome, and she added me to this Facebook group called Creative Connection PDX…it’s a group of female creatives in Portland who run their own businesses. It’s pretty fantastic, and I’m super excited to be a part of it. So Andrea, of Little Things, posted something asking if anyone wanted to have art up for their First Thursday Show, so I said I was interested and explained what I do, and she loved my stuff, and the rest is history! I’m really excited to meet all of these wonderful creative women, and get more connected. And if you need anything, I might be able to find someone who can do that for you…
