Shadows
My newest fascination – shadows. I’m not entirely sure what it is; I think part of it is the contrast of light/dark and the shapes, and sometimes the colors. Part of it though, when it’s people, I think is that it feels like you’re capturing someone’s portrait, but in a way in which they are a mystery, and you have to try to figure them out with barely any information. Or you can’t figure them out, it’s just a hint or glimpse of someone, and you are left wondering about more. I’m all weird and romantic about random things, and this is the most current one. Shadows fascinate me.
